Chair of BFSA (London) District   Paul Basson on 10th September 2017 attended on behalf of the BFSA  at the Firefighters  Memorial Trust’s, The Firefighters International Service of Remembrance & Wreath Laying Ceremony.

At about 13:50, the bands, standards and attendees paraded to the National Firefighters Memorial in Carter Lane near St Paul’s Cathedral.

A short service of remembrance then took place followed by Wreath laying ceremony where I laid a Wreath on behalf of the National BFSA and London District Members.

As this was my first time for me laying a wreath … “I was deeply moved and overcome by this act of remembrance…. God Bless, Those that have past, those of the present and those to come”
